Auckland Provincial German Shepherd Dog League


The APGSDL has a proud history, established in 1948.  We own our own club grounds and facilities making it unique to other clubs.  As a specialty club we are dedicated to promoting the well being and training of German Shepherd Dogs. 

If you are interested, then please come along on a Sunday morning from around 10am to 12pm to see what we are all about.

Club Activities

The APGSDL provides a range of activities including Breed Shows, Club Fun days and Obedience Training throughout the year.

Obedience Training - Every Sunday
10am Puppy Education (for dogs under 6 months old)
10am Basic training (dogs must be at least 6 months old)
10.45am Advanced Training (dogs must be at least 8-12 months old, this class is for those that are interested in having a go at competing in our club shows)

Members are welcome to stay after training for refreshments and a chat with our Committee Members.
